You just gotta love the audacity of the U.S. federal government and its active staging of crimes in order to achieve political goals. Operation Fast and Furious is the most recent example of a U.S.-run criminal conspiracy pursued for the ultimate purpose of dismantling the Bill of Rights. It involved ATF agents running a criminal scheme that sold literallytens of thousands of gunsto Mexican drug gangs, after which the government planned to call for “gun sales restrictions” following the wave of gun violence that would inevitably result.

There was only one problem with the government’s evil plan, however — some ATF agents blew the whistle, and then the whole conspiracy exploded in their faces. Now even the mainstream media — which usually won’t touch government conspiracies — is all over Operation Fast and Furious. And for all those who say they don’t believe in “conspiracy theories,” well, it turns out they were all just naive, as usual. Here’s a conspiracy fact right in your face — and the government has now been forced to admit to it!

The mainstream media bought into the cover story

What’s clear about Operation Fast and Furious is that it involved not only the ATF but also the White House. The LA Times and other mainstream media papers are incorrectly reporting it as a “failed sting operation,” but that’s just the cover story. In reality, Operation Fast and Furious was a raging success! It achieved its stated goal which was placing thousands of rifles and pistols into the hands of Mexican drug gangs, then hoping enough violence would spill over into the USA that the American people would call for gun sales restrictions.

Whether you admire the Second Amendment or not, you’ve got to admit this is a particularly insidious conspiracy because it has the government directly promoting sales of weapons to criminals. Normally when you walk into a gun store, you can’t buy a weapon without passing an FBI background check. So there’s a safety mechanism in place to prevent guns from being purchased by felons or non-citizens. But in this conspiracy operation, the ATF specifically told gun store owners (such as Lone Wolf in Arizona) to sell guns to criminals even if they didn’t pass the background checks. This is just one example of how the U.S. federal government has become a criminal organization that promotes gun violence in America.

Remember the conventional cover story for all this? That the guns were going to be “tracked” to see where they ended up?

There’s just one problem with this whole story: There were no tracking devices installed on any of the guns being sold to criminals. Thus, the whole idea of tracking these guns is ludicrous, and the government’s official cover story falls apart (yet again). The purpose of Fast and Furious wasn’t to TRACK guns but to ARM CRIMINALS and then hope enough bodies would pile up that the government could call for restrictions against the Second Amendment.

In fact, even though the government has been caught red handed in this operation, it has already begun to roll out the gun sales restrictions it planned all along! Documents acquired by InfoWars (and also separately by NaturalNews) reveal that gun shops throughout Arizona, New Mexico and Texas have been ordered by the ATF to report any sale of more than one rifle or pistol to any single person. Thus, even though the FBI already runs background checks on purchasers of firearms, the ATF is now creating a second layer of burdensome paperwork on many sales of firearms. Importantly, this addsno additional background check securityto the gun purchasing process, which is already subjected to FBI approval anyway. Even worse, this entire process is being done completely outside the law, using solely the regulatory bullying of the ATF itself — the very same agency that is technically a rogue government agency steeped in criminal behavior.

A lawless government

Did you ever notice how the federal government never faces any consequences when it breaks the law, but if you or I sold guns to Mexican drug criminals, we’d be facing decades in prison? As we’ve all seen from numerous examples, the government today is a lawless, criminal gang that breaks its own laws with impunity.

We now know that the U.S. government staged the 9/11 terror attacks and brought down the WTC 7 building using planned demolition charges. This isn’t even questioned by any rational person anymore, as thousands of architects and engineers have gone public in stating that WTC 7 was, without question, a demolition job (http://www.ae911truth.org). We also know that the government conspired to put tens of thousands of weapons directly into the hands of criminal drug gangs. Time and time again, the federal government actively plots to break the law in order to crush freedom and usurp power. Yet the mainstream media largely doesn’t cover any of this, and the mainstream sheeple of America are for the most part too dumbed-down to even believe what’s really happening.

There’s no telling what the government is planning and plotting right now in its evil scheme to destroy our civil rights and unleash a total police state in America. What Operation Fast and Furious really proves is that the U.S. federal government will openly endanger innocent lives and break any laws it wants in pursuit of crushing freedom in America.

It’s not even about the guns, you see. It’s about thetacticsthat the U.S. government now uses to achieve its political aims. Rather than going to the People and asking for their rational views on security versus freedom, the government stages its own catastrophes and crimes in order to get people to REACT so that freedoms can then be stolen from everyone.

Isn’t that what “the terrorists” were accused of doing? Remember when George Bush said that terrorists targeted America because “they hate freedom”? But it turns out the real haters of freedom are the rogue agents within the federal government itself. The real roots of modern-day terrorism, it seems, are more easily found in Washington D.C. than Iraq or Syria.

We were just following orders, sir

Are there good agents in the federal government? Absolutely there are. It was ATF agents who blew the whistle on the ATF conspiracy in the first place. There are FBI agents who do good work to help protect America from legitimate threats. At every level of law enforcement, there are men and women who put their lives on the line with great courage and a real sense of duty. Yet sadly, there are just as many government agents who are ready and willing to commit serious crimes as long as they are told to do so. They make no distinction between good or bad and merely “follow orders.”

That’s how we ended up with Operation Fast and Furious, which was no doubt the brainchild of a bunch of gun haters at the White House who decided it was somehow okay for them to break the law as long as they were wrongfully framing (and blaming) gun shops. In their minds, you see, the ends justify the means, so they believe they can commit any and all crimes necessary to achieve their final goal, which might have nothing at all to do with guns. It might be a goal of crushing the raw dairy industry or keeping hemp illegal. Or even outlawing home gardens.

There’s no telling what our federal government will do next in its out-of-control desire to crush freedom and destroy our rights. It could stage its own terrorist attacks, unleash bombs in major U.S. cities, poison the water supply or even stage the deaths of U.S. Navy Seal Team members… and it would do it all with a straight face, claiming to be “protecting America” even though it is destroying America from the inside out. As he campaigned for the presidency in 2007 and 2008, then Sen. Barack Obama made clear there would be no torturing of terrorism suspects on his watch, as had been done by the agency with White House and Justice Department approval during the Bush administration in the years following the 9/11 attacks.

And as it turned out, one of the first things Obama did after becoming president was sign an executive order that included a ban on the tortureof terror suspects.

That was in 2009, shortly after becoming president. But with the campaign over, now came the bitter reality of actually having togovern. As president, one of the things Obama, the new commander-in-chief, was expected to do was to continue successful prosecution of the so-called Global War On Terror begun Sept. 12, 2001. To do that would require action, not campaign promises. And action meant sticking with what worked.

That’s why, despite public protestations and campaign-like slogans of “change,” Obama used a presidential sleight of hand to disapprove torturingon U.S. soilwhile granting the CIA authority to continue the practice in countries whose record on human rights abuses was already well-known.

This is why the president, bowing the realities of office rather than the seductive sound bites of a campaign, agreed to allow the continuance of most other Bush-era anti-terrorism CIA tactics that may be distasteful to the well-heeled elite but that are vital to protect the integrity and national security of the world’s most powerful democracy.

In a soon-to-be released PBSFrontlinedocumentary John Rizzo, a top CIA lawyer, says the incoming Obama administration may have tut-tutted the agency’s anti-terrorism tactics on the campaign trail but went on to “endorse” nearly all of them when the time came to take over the reins of power.

“I was part of the transition briefings of the incoming Obama team, and they signaled fairly early on that the incoming president believed in a vigorous, aggressive, continuing counterterrorism effort,” Rizzo says in the documentary.

“Although they never said it exactly, it was clear that the interrogation program was going away. We all knew that,” he continued. “But his people were signaling to us, I think partly to try to assure us that they weren’t going to come in and dismantle the place, that they were going to be just as tough, if not tougher, than the Bush people.

“With a notable exception of the enhanced interrogation program, the incoming Obama administration changed virtually nothing with respect to existing CIA programs and operations,” he said. “Things continued. Authorities were continued that were originally granted by President Bush beginning shortly after 9/11. Those were all picked up, reviewed and endorsed by the Obama administration.”

In truth, the covert warfare programs under the Obama administration have actually expanded since the Bush team left office. While Obama may not be casting as wide a net for terror suspects around the world, that has given way to more deadlier operations, as in, an increased use of CIA-owned drones to strike terror suspects in places like Pakistan. Consider it the modern-day equivalent of President Richard Nixon’s ordering of secret bombing campaigns in Cambodia during the Vietnam War.

The Obama administration should be commended for its efforts to protect the nation from the growing global terrorist threat. Having said that, it would be a refreshing change of pace for the current White House to not just admit the preceding administration’s hard-core strategy of doing what it took to prevent future 9/11′s was effective, but also worthy of repetition.

Highlighting how the Department of Homeland Security has turned its attention to white middle class Americans as the primary terror threat in a series of recent PSA’s, actor Chuck Norris warns that the federal government is ignoring Al-Qaeda Muslims while shifting its strategy to target anti-big government citizen activists.

In a piece for TownHall.com entitled, Feds Still Enable Terrorists 10 Years After 9/11, Norris writes how, “Terrorism has been tempered and transformed ever since 2009, when President Barack Obama took office.”

“Alex Jones’ Infowars.com recently documented several examples of how the feds have “dispensed with all pretense of the war on terror being focused on Al-Qaeda Muslims,” writes the Walker, Texas Ranger star, making reference to our coverage of the DHS “See Something, Say Something” snitch campaign, which has been launched nationwide on the back of racially-motivated public service announcements which overwhelmingly portray white middle class Americans as the most likely terrorists.

The story went viral, appearing on both Fox Nation and the Drudge Report, prompting Homeland Security to deny that the PSA’s were racially driven, despite an analysis showing that in almost every instance, white people are portrayed as terrorists with ethnic minorities characterized as patriotic Americans for reporting them to the authorities.

“Just a few weeks ago, as a part of its “If You See Something, Say Something” stoolie campaign, Homeland Security released two videos, in which nearly every segment shows a shift in federal strategy from catching foreign terrorists to targeting white middle-class Americans who are against big government as terrorists, including tea partyers, anti-Fed activists and even veterans. (These videos echo Vice President Joe Biden’s recent remarks that tea partyers are like “terrorists.”), writes Norris.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which is tied at the hip with Homeland Security, later admitted that the DHS videos featured, “mostly white “terrorists,” while the actors portraying citizens who report their suspicious activities are all minorities,” yet labeled Alex Jones paranoid for pointing out the disconnect between Big Sis homing in on whites as the big terror threat despite the fact that in 2009 and 2010, of the 126 people who were indicted on terrorist-related charges in the United States, all of them were Muslim.

According to the SPLC, it is not Homeland Security, but Alex Jones who has “crossed the Rubicon of race,” for believing the “conspiracy theory” that the feds think “whites are the new Al Qaeda,” even as Homeland Security itself produces video after video portraying whites as the most likely terrorists.

In his article, Norris also savages Mayor Bloomberg for blocking 9/11 first responders from attending this weekend’s 10th anniversary memorial event in New York, noting how, “Bloomberg apparently thinks politicians will be sufficient to comfort the still-grieving families and nation.”

Norris’ warning that the federal government has all but dropped any pretense of targeting Al-Qaeda extremists ten years after 9/11 is timely given the fact that a US-backed military intervention in Libya has gifted terrorists a home base as well as access to an arsenal of deadly weapons.

While characterizing returning veterans as a major domestic terror threat by subjecting them to an FBI extremist probe dubbed Operation Vigilant Eagle, as well as training Boy Scouts to hunt them down, the federal government has simultaneously sent US warplanes on bombing missions in support of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) which now controls Tripoli, a group that killed U.S. troops in Iraq according to a 2007 West Point Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) report.

Norris’ warning that the federal government is “enabling terrorists” while demonizing politically active Americans as terrorists has never been so prescient.

Negative View of Federal Government Hits New High in Gallup Poll

CNSNews.com) – The percentage of Americans telling the Gallup poll they have a negative view of the federal government has hit a new high, Gallup reported today.

In a survey conducted Aug. 11-14, Gallup asked American adults whether their overall view of the federal government was very positive, somewhat positive, neutral, somewhat negative or very negative.

A total of 63 percent said they had a negative view of the federal government, including 34 percent who said they had a somewhat negative view and 29 percent who said they had a very negative view.

That is the highest negative rating the federal government has received since Gallup starting asking people to rate their view of the government in an August 2003 survey. Gallup has asked the same question about the federal government every August since then.
